Detailed Introduction

The aerosol fire-suppression agent generated upon activation of the FirePro aerosol system consists of ultrafine potassium salt particles and an inert gas. It employs both chemical and physical mechanisms to suppress the fire source; potassium salts have long been recognized as the most effective extinguishing agents available today, and potassium-based aerosols have undergone countless tests. Importantly, this aerosol does not decompose or react with oxygen in the presence of flame, making it the optimal choice among all fire-suppression agents. The FirePro automatic aerosol fire-extinguishing system is registered under the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Significant New Alternatives Policy (SNAP). Like halon, it delivers highly efficient fire suppression without any adverse environmental impact.

1. High environmental benefits: It is effective against a wide range of fire types and suitable for various types of facilities, with no concerns about environmental harm.

(1) Fire Pro aerosol is a reactive agent whose particulate size is ≤10 μm (with a particle count even lower than the amount of dust that naturally settles in a sealed computer room over the course of a month). Throughout its entire lifecycle, from production to application, it is non-toxic, environmentally benign, pollution-free, non-corrosive, leaves no residue, and does not contribute to the greenhouse effect, thereby meeting green and environmentally friendly standards.

(2) The sediment produced by Fire Pro extinguishing agent is non-hygroscopic and free of acidic or alkaline substances. Testing has confirmed that it is non-corrosive to copper and aluminum materials, and can be easily cleaned up with a standard vacuum cleaner after discharge.

2. High fire-extinguishing efficiency, rapid response, and all-round suppressive fire suppression.

(1) Fire Pro aerosols are smaller in particle size and more efficient than comparable products.

(2) The gas generated by Fire Pro extinguishing agent exhibits fluid-like behavior and the ability to fill the entire space, regardless of the location of the fire source.

3. Convenient construction

(1) Fire Pro aerosol systems are compact and lightweight, wired for connection, easy to install, and do not require a dedicated piping network, thereby eliminating the need for hazardous hot-work operations. They are particularly well-suited for renovation projects, as they allow construction activities to proceed without interruption.

4. High safety

(1) Fire Pro aerosol fire suppressant is a white, odorless solid that eliminates pressure relief and leakage issues, avoids mechanical failures, and significantly reduces maintenance costs and management burdens.

(2) The reactor is started using an electric power starter, employing a dual-fuse starting technique.

(3) At conventional extinguishing concentrations, the gaseous components of aerosol fire suppressants—ammonia, carbon dioxide, and water vapor—are inherently non-hazardous to health. Compared with FM-200 and CO2, the byproducts generated by Fire Pro aerosols are the safest.

Telecommunications equipment rooms, generator rooms, switchgear rooms, small vessels, marine engine rooms, data centers, power plants and substations, general industrial hazardous areas, factory process control rooms, storage of hazardous flammable liquids, and high-value mobile equipment.
